Question of the day #159 The Little Master II

On a day of Christmas, Hrishikesh Kanitkar had to endure an eventful ODI debut as
the match between India and Sri Lanka, at Nehru Stadium, Indore found its place
dubiously in the record books as the first ever incident of its kind. A local lawyer even
demanded that the captains Arjuna Ranatunga & Sachin Tendulkar, and the match
referee Ahmed Ibrahim be arrested.  

What was the fuss all about?

    After the third over, both the captains felt that the pitch was dangerous for the players to play on. The match referee then called off the match.

    Fuss was about calling off the match by match referee. After the third over, both captains felt that the pitch was dangerous for the players to play on.

    For the first time game was abandoned because the pitch was too dangerous to play on.
